  Offering education programs that include dance classes for children, teenagers and adults, this dance institute also offers performances by director and founder Garth Fagan, and dance performances that he has choreographed, both in Rochester and as touring shows. Fagan has won renown for his innovative dance and choreography, most notably his choreography of Broadway’s “The Lion King,” which won him the prestigious Tony Award; he is also a Distinguished University Professor at the State University of New York, the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the title of Fulbright 50th Anniversary Distinguished Fellow.
