Built by Bishop George Berkeley, this "unusual hip-roofed building with a long, sloping lean-to across the back and a Palladian doorway" is filled with colonial furnishings from the period of 1729-1731, when Berkeley resided here. Its herb garden was designed and is maintained by the Newport Garden Club.
