Farmers' Society Hall (circa 1828) 255 Old Depot Road, Pendleton, SC 29670, Town Square, 864-646-8161, Built on the site of the old courthouse after the district was divided, this landmark building is the centerpiece of historic Pendleton and is the oldest farmers' hall in continuous use in the nation.

Keese Barn (circa 1910) 203 West Queen Street, Pendleton, SC 29670, Block Below the Historic Town Square, 864-646-3782, This local African American landmark began as a country store and is a great example of African American history in South Carolina. The building was built most with scrap materials, as was many structures built during that time. map

Saint Paul's Episcopal Church (circa 1822) 328 East Quenn Street, Pendleton, SC 29670, 864-646-3782, The oldest Episcopal church in the area and the second oldest in what is now the Diocese of Upper South Carolina, this historic white clapboard church features a Jaridine pipe organ that has filled the church with music since 1848. The Churchyard includes buried sites for several historically important people including a Polish countess and soldiers who died during the Civil War. map

Woodburn Plantation (circa 1828) 328 US Highway 76, Pendleton, SC 29670, 864-646-7249, Built by Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina from 1832 to 1834 and a member of the South Carolina family that included two signers of the U.S. Constitution, this beautiful four story plantation house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and represents the glory that was the Old South. This house is an excellent example of an early 19th century plantation house.

Pendleton District Agricultural Museum S.C. Highway 76, Pendleton, SC 29670, Across from Tri-County Technical Building, 864-646-3782, The first boll weevil found in South Carolina is on display at this 6,000 square foot museum that contains numerous other displays and exhibits including pre-1925 farm equipment and tools, Cherokee Indian and local history artifacts, a replica of a cotton gin older than Eli Whitney's, and shellers and hullers.
