The oldest Episcopal church in the area and the second oldest in what is now the Diocese of Upper South Carolina, this historic white clapboard church features a Jaridine pipe organ that has filled the church with music since 1848. Built by Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina from 1832 to 1834 and a member of the South Carolina family that included two signers of the U.S. Constitution, this beautiful four story plantation house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and represents the glory that was the Old South. This house is an excellent example of an early 19th century plantation house.

The first boll weevil found in South Carolina is on display at this 6,000 square foot museum that contains numerous other displays and exhibits including pre-1925 farm equipment and tools, Cherokee Indian and local history artifacts, a replica of a cotton gin older than Eli Whitney's, and shellers and hullers.
