    Located on the eastern shore of Echo Lake, the park's total acreage is 295 acres, of which 46 acres comprise the developed portion of the park. The balance contains hiking trails, fishing, hunting and gold panning, but is largely forestry oriented. There is a group camping area on the south side of Buffalo Brook consisting of six lean-tos, tent sites, pit toilets, and a large field for activities.     The 6,400-yard long, par-70 golf course is Vermont's first Heathland-style course and is unlike any other resort course in New England. Okemo Valley Golf Club is home to the Okemo Valley Golf Academy. Also, an 18-acre outdoor Golf Learning Center offers exceptional opportunities for practice and instruction. The Indoor Facility is Vermont's most inclusive golf operations and Academy Center complete with a 6,000 sq. ft. indoor practice area, Interactive Virtual Golf Program, two academy classrooms and dedicated student locker space.
