    Robert Todd Lincoln, the eldest son of President Abraham & Mary Todd Lincoln, built this 24-room stately Georgian Revival mansion on a promontory overlooking the Battenkill Valley. The Lincoln's 1,000-pipe organ, installed in the entrance hall at Hildene in 1908, is believed to be the oldest residential pipe organ with a player attachment still in its original location and still in working order in the United States. more...  map

Wilson Museum is a display space for the Southern Vermont Arts Center’s permanent collection of close to 800 pieces of 19th and 20th century works, including the world’s largest collection of works by Luigi Lucioni. Once the 28-room Georgian Revival mansion and centerpiece of the 407-acre former Gertrude Divine Webster estate that is listed on the National Register of Historical Places, the Yester House is the site of the Arts Center’s major annual and invitational exhibitions. The mansion’s former entrance foyer, salons, bed chambers and sitting rooms are now 10 galleries holding the art of more than 600 artists that is for sale.
