Forks Timber Museum Located on the End of Town, The Forks Timber Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week. Learn about the loggers of the past and their tools of trade. The museum displays exhibits depicting local history dating back to the 1870's. Outside, there is a memorial garden, fire lookout tower and nature trails. |

Makah Museum Located 22 Miles North of Forks, 360-645-2711, Artifacts, depicting the Makah's history are beautifully displayed. These priceless objects originated from the archaeological excavations of the Ozette village at Cape Alava, which had been perfectly preserved under a mudslide 500 hundred years ago. The Makah museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily between Memorial Day and mid-September. Winter hours are the same, except closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. more... |
