Jefferson Street High Level Bridge (circa 1921) Exit 137 of I-79, Follow 310 North, Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this historic bridge has recently undergone a $23.5 million dollar restoration. Spanning the Monongahela River, rail lines and city streets, this 1,266 foot structure on three graceful arch rings was one of the earliest reinforced concrete arch bridges in the country. |
