Brierfield Ironworks Historical State Park 240 Furnace Parkway, Birmingham, AL 35035, Brierfield, 205-665-1856, Crumbling brick ruins are all that remain of the Brierfield Ironworks, which were destroyed in raids by Union Army cavalry in March 1865.
