First Baptist Church (circa 1868) 160 Walnut Street, Weston, MO, 816-640-2837, The First Baptist Church was founded in 1868. In 1896, the Baptist Church was completely destroyed by fire. A second building was built on the site, which now houses the Weston Historical Museum. In 1959 the church moved to a new building on Walnut Street. |

Weston Christian Church (circa 1854) 540 Washington Street, Weston, MO, 816-640-2846, In 1852, twenty-three members of the community met for the purpose of organizing a new congregation to be called the Weston Christian Church. In 1854, construction was completed and the Church was dedicated. Members donated a pipe organ at the dedication of the present building in 1906.
